TALLASSEE, AL (WSFA) -

The Elmore County Emergency Management Agency & Homeland Security Office is reopening a road that was closed Tuesday afternoon following an emergency road closure order.

Jordan Avenue (Alabama Highway 229) from Barnett Boulevard (Alabama Highway 14) to Rifle Range Road (Elmore County Road 4) was closed until approximately 3:15 p.m. because of a high-pressure natural gas main leak.
