MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A Montgomery County man was sentenced to life without parole after being convicted on multiple robberies.

Willie Larkins, 33, was convicted of four counts of 1st degree robbery, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's office.

Larkins robbed No Way Jose Grill and Cantina and Firehouse Subs in May 2012, and Neighborhood Cash Advance on Wares Ferry Road on July 26, 2012. According to the District Attorney's office, the owner of the cash advance business is a police officer and he chased Larkins after the robbery. The business owner provided a description to other officers, and Larkins and his cousin, Albert Ford, were arrested a short time later.

Larkins had three prior robbery convictions.

Ford pleaded guilty in April and is serving time.
