LEEDS, AL (WBRC) -

A fatal mobile home fire from Wednesday night is under investigation.

Leeds Police Chief Byron Jackson says the fire happened in the 9000 block of Clayton Dr. Three children and two adults were in the home at the time of the fire. An 11-year-old girl was killed in blaze but everyone else was able to escape.

Leeds police, along with the state fire marshal and Leeds Fire Department, are investigating. The case has been classified as a ‘death investigation.'

The two children were taken to Children's of Alabama for treatment. The two adults were treated and released from UAB.
