HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police arrested three people in connection with two gas station robberies that happened early Friday morning.

The first one happened at the Kangaroo on Memorial Parkway just before 4:30 Friday morning. The second crime happened just after 6 a.m. Friday at the Shell Mart on University Drive

Officers patrolling the area located the vehicle involved based on descriptions provided by witnesses. Police made a traffic stop and two handguns were recovered.

Theodore Douglas Conley, Antoine Gordan Conley, and Lashandra Kaira Wade were arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree robbery. All are in the Madison County Metro Jail awaiting bond.

Over the last month, there have been nine gas station holdups in the area. In Huntsville, six stations were robbed at gunpoint. In Madison, the same station has been robbed three times.

The owner of the Madison gas station is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest of the person responsible for hitting his store. Madison and Huntsville police are actively investigating the remaining unsolved cases. Photos and videos of the Madison Phillips 66 robberies have been posted to MPD's Facebook page.
