MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

We've seen the Pulaski Mini Mart several times before in the Kitchen Cops report. This time, the Madison County Health Department handed them an 82, making them a Kitchen Cops low performer yet again.

In fact, the Pulaski Mini Mart is now a low performer for the fourth straight inspection. The inspector reports food temperature violations. Grilled chicken at 109 degrees, and grilled ribs and hot dogs at 119 degrees. The health department mandates hot-holding foods need to be held at 135 degrees or warmer to prevent bacterial growth. The inspector says the warmer the food was in was only at 122 degrees.

The Vulcan Express on Highway 168 in Boaz had been a low performer four straight times, but this time, the score just well enough to earn their way off of that list, scoring an 85.

The Valero on Drake Avenue in Huntsville is off of the low performers list, improving by six points with an 89 during their reinspection.

And Lake Guntersville State Park improved by 19 points, scoring a 93 this time around.

It takes a score of 85 or above to get off of the health department's reinspection schedule, and off of the Kitchen Cops low performers list. We'll let you know they do the next time the health inspector comes around.
