Flames are continuing to spread as Houston County Firefighters work to put out a house fire in the Taylor community.

The home, which at 276 Trawick Road, in Taylor appears to have flames coming from the rear of the home and that are spreading.

The owner of the home, Phillip Baker says the only person inside the home was his girlfriend but she has not been hurt from the fire. He declined to comment on camera but says he has lived in the home since 1989, and is grateful his kids were at school and his girlfriend could escape.
