OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

A Union Springs, Ala. man faces rape charges for a having what Opelika police say appears to be a consensual sexual relationship with a minor, who was not of age to give consent.

Yoni Calhoun, 27, was arrested on January 12 by the Opelika Police Department for outstanding warrants.

Calhoun has been charged with two counts of second degree rape.

Calhoun was taken to the Lee County Justice Center, and we are waiting to hear if he has made bond as he awaits his next court appearance.
