MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

The Marshall County Health Department handed the Taco Bell in Boaz an 83. The inspector reported that the soda nozzles needed to be cleaned and that there was no certified manager on duty.

Jay's Mini Mart in Gurley remains on the Madison County Health Department's reinspection schedule after scoring an 81. Their previous score was an 84. This time, the inspector reported ready-to-serve chicken was held at 104 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 31 degrees below the minimum temperature required to prevent bacterial growth in hot-holding foods.

The Happy Hollow Market is Florence remains on the Lauderdale County Health Department's reinspection schedule. During their previous inspection, the market scored an 83. This time, they scored an 82. The health inspector reported they were not sanitizing dishes.

The Pulaski University Texaco in Huntsville scored an 84. The health inspector reported discovering lighter fluid stored next to containers labeled "vinegar" and "seasoned salt." The inspector noted that when they asked what was in the containers and what they were used for, the manager did not know.

The workers at Korea House in Huntsville earned their way off of reinspection schedule, improving by six points by scoring a 90 during their reinspection.

Western Sizzlin in Boaz rose 17 points with an 89 during their reinspection, getting the restaurant off of the reinspection schedule.
