WESTWEGO, La. - Alcohol and Tobacco Control agents shut down a Westwego convenience store during a synthetic marijuana bust Thursday.

Store owner Truc Pham was booked with possession of a controlled substance.

During the ATC raid of the grocery in the 1200 block of Avenue H, agents said they found 405 grams of synthetic pot and more than $22,000 in cash, along with scales, a gun and other contraband in the store and at the owner's home next door.
