ASU grad's music video to debut on BET

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Alabama State University graduate Javan Ishman's music video for his single "What I'm About" featuring Jadakiss and Slim Thug will debut on BET Friday.

According to ASU, the video will appear on "106 & Park Countdown" Friday at 5 p.m.

Ishman, a native of Birmingham, is better known by his rap name JABO.

"It is a great opportunity to have my video featured on BET. I'm truly blessed," JABO said in statement from ASU. "ASU has played an instrumental part in my growth; Bama State Radio was the first station to play my single. I appreciate all the love and support I get from Hornet Nation."
