Rose Supper Club shooting victim speaks out after Centennial Hill shootings

Posted: Updated:
MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The December 2013 triple-fatal shooting at the Centennial Hill Bar & Grille nightclub on Montgomery's Highland Avenue hits very close to home for 20-year-old Princess Bell.

As 5 victims recover from the shooting, Bell looks back on her own recovery. She was at the same club just a year earlier. What was at that time known as the Rose Supper Club, Bell was one of six people shot at the club in December 2012.

She says she and her mother petitioned the City of Montgomery and the Alabama Beverage Control Board to keep the establishment closed, and keep another mass shooting from happening in the future.

Since the most recent shooting, she's decided to make her voice heard. She sat down with WSFA 12 News to discuss experience, her message, and what she wants to change.
