  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., 39th annual birthday celebration, Noon Monday at Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church
  • Parade starts at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the U.S. Post Office on Catoma Street and will continue on Dexter Avenue to the Alabama Capitol.
  • Free admission Monday at Civil Rights Memorial Center, 400 Washington Ave.

Opelika

  • Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance Day program titled "A 15 Year Celebration: Advancing the Dream" will start at 11 a.m. Monday at the Opelika Center for Performing Arts.

Prattville

  • Parade starts at 9 a.m. at Stanley-Jensen Stadium and ends with a service at First Missionary Baptist Church.

Wetumpka

  • 19th annual march starts at 11 a.m. in the Level Community and will continue to the old courthouse.
