Three men were arrested Sunday morning after police say they tried to run people over with a car in the front yard of 1712 44th St.

Guadalupe Lopez, 20, Jesus Pardo, 22, and Jose Lopez, 24, have been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, evading arrest and public intoxication.

Officers located the suspects in the vehicle at 4600 Ave. V, where they fled, leading police on a pursuit.

The DPS helicopter followed the vehicle until it stopped at FM-1585 and US-87 due to mechanical problems. DPS troopers detained the suspects until Lubbock police arrived.

Police arrested the suspects and transported them to the Lubbock County jail.

Victims told officers the incident was part of an ongoing domestic argument.
