TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Every UA game I chose a play that I think represents the kind of tough physical football that we all love.

The award for the Wildcats Bowl win over Boston College goes to outgoing senior Marquis Flowers.

Fitting that Mr. Hit That finished his career strong. He was all over the field as the UA defense swarmed the nation's leading rusher Andre Williams, holding him under 100 yards.

Flowers snuffed out a fourth quarter flat pass to the Eagles Alex Amidon, crushing him for a one-yard loss.

Marquis finished the game with seven tackles including a team-high two and half for a loss. He tied for 1st on the Wildcats for the season in the TFL category and was second only to Jake Fischer in total tackles.

So that's it. 13 weeks of some of the best hitting in college football. Look this week for your chance to vote for the 2013 Hit of the Year.
