The Director of the Lowndes County Emergency Management Agency is under indictment.
Walter Hill, who also serves as Mayor of Mosses, is charged with one count of using his public position for personal gain, as well as second degree forgery, a felony.
According to the indictment, Hill is accused of forging a non-driver ID, stating it appeared to the grand jury he had the intent to defraud, and falsely make the ID.
The charges are connected only to Hill's position with the EMA, not as Mosses' mayor.
Hill's bond was set at $2,500. He has a court appearance on January 31.
