There's lots of local flavor at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama including Tulane wide receiver Ryan Grant, the Green Wave's leading pass catcher all year long.

The Beaumont, Texas native says not only is this a great week for him and his future, but it's also a big week for the university he represents:

"It can definitely put Tulane on the map since Jeremy Williams and Matt Forte but it's really good for the program so I'm hoping to do some good things out here.  It's tough at first but I would just always tell myself to be patient and my time will come and coaches Curtis Johnson, Keith Williams, and Lionel Washington, they gave me the opportunity to make plays and to elevate my game and I took advantage of those opportunities."

Grant had an incredibly productive senior season at Tulane with over 1,000 yards receiving and nine touchdowns.  He's currently projected to be picked anywhere from the fifth to seventh round.

FOX 8's Sean Fazende will have reports from Senior Bowl practice leading up to Saturday's game.
