CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Reds minor leaguers Ryan LaMarre, Tucker Barnhart, Seth Mejias-Brean and Jesse Winker will visit the Reds Urban Youth Academy on Wednesday as guest instructors. 

The players are in Cincinnati as part of the 2014 Reds Caravan, and will be coaching a softball clinic for girls eight to 18-years-old from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The Reds Urban Youth Academy is an urban baseball and softball organization, established and operated by the Reds Community Fund in 2009.The academy provides free, year-round baseball and softball instruction to youth ages eight to 18.

In addition to operating training clinics, the academy hosts an indoor facility for youth teams to use during the winter months. The Reds Urban Youth Academy is located at 5425 Winton Ridge Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45232.

The Reds Caravan will kick off from the Great American Ball Park on Thursday morning, and consists of four separate tours making more than 40 stops. The players will share their experience with young athletes along a 3,000 mile, five-state journey.
