Alan Jackson to headline 49th annual Alpha Psi Rodeo

AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

Alpha Psi Fraternity at Auburn University has announced Alan Jackson as the headliner for their 49th Annual Rodeo. This years's rodeo will be on Saturday, April 12 with tickets going on sale Friday January 24.

Alan Jackson has written more than 20 songs that have been taken to the top of the charts, and more than 60 million albums sold worldwide. He is considered one of the best-selling artists with his current album, The Bluegrass Album, debuting at number 1 on the Billboards Bluegrass Albums Sales Chart.

This year's tickets will not be downloadable for printing at home, but actual hard copy tickets. The rodeo ticket prices start at $47.50 each, and parking passes will be $60.00 each. Parking passes will only be sold with the purchase of four or more tickets.

The Alpha Psi Rodeo is an amateur rodeo, presented by the only male fraternity associated with the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. It is the single largest fundraising event conducted by the students of Auburn University.

Past proceeds have benefited the College of Veterinary Medicine, Storybook Farm Inc., and the Alabama Sheriffs' Youth Ranches.
