HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

A Hamilton teen has been arrested in connection to the shooting of a 15-year-old on January 15.

Hamilton Police received reports of the shooting around 6:15 p.m. on January 15. Officers responded to the corner of Ludlow and South 13th Street after receiving reports of a boy shot in the leg.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at a local hospital.

On Tuesday, police arrested 19-year-old Charles Singletary in connection with the shooting. Singletary has been charged with two counts of felonious assault and one count of aggravated robbery.

Police say that the suspect struggled with officers during the arrest. He has also been charged with resisting arrest.
