AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

Steve Forbes, the chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, which owns one of the nation's leading business magazines, Forbes, is scheduled to speak at an event in Auburn.

The event, billed as "An Evening with Steve Forbes" is set for Friday, March 21 and is being hosted by the Auburn Conservatives for Tomorrow (ACT). The event will be held at the Auburn Arena.

Organizers say those who attend will learn the value of free enterprise, individual freedom and a strong national defense.

Forbes campaigned unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination for President in both 1996 and 2000.

General admission will be free to students and will be $30 for non-students at the door.
