MILLBROOK, AL (WSFA) -

Millbrook police say two suspects are in custody and another is still at large after an armed robbery and chase Wednesday night.

Terrence Huffman, 21, and Donte L. Harris, 16, both of Montgomery, have been charged with first degree robbery. Harris is being charged as an adult. Both are being held in the Elmore County  Jail on $15,000 bond.

Millbrook police officers responded to an armed robbery at Dollar General on Main Street in Millbrook at 9 p.m. Wednesday. Witnesses say two men walked into the business and one of them displayed a handgun and demanded money. Both men then fled from the store on foot with cash and cigarettes.

A police officer saw a vehicle leaving the area and tried to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle refused to stop as officers pursued it southbound on Highway 143 south then onto Interstate 65 into Montgomery.

The vehicle eventually stopped in west Montgomery and the three occupants fled on foot.

Montgomery police joined the search with K-9 tracking dogs. Harris and Huffman were eventually apprehended.

Police say the third suspect is still at large but they are confident he will taken into custody soon.

Police believe there will be additional charges for several robberies in the last month and a half.
