PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

Elisabeth Kelley reached a milestone in her athletic career at Prattville Christian Academy this week after reaching the 1,000 points mark on the basketball court.

The milestone is even more impressive because she hasn't even reached the end of her junior year.

"Elisabeth has been as consistent of a scorer as anyone who has ever played in a Panther uniform," says her coach, Jason Roberson. "Her ability to shoot the long ball with great accuracy will most likely allow her to leave as the school's all time leading scorer after her senior season next year."

Kelley posed for a picture with the milestone basketball following the game against Marbury.

Coach Roberson calls her very deserving of the honor adding she is, "one of the most humble players I have ever coached."

Kelley isn't slowing down now that she's topped the 1000-point mark. School officials say she wore the net out this week when PCA played Reeltown at home, scoring 29 points during that game.
