UPDATE: Missing Brunswick County woman safely located

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT)- Officials from the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office report a missing woman has been safely located.

According to the sheriff's office, Linda Mae Thompson from Supply, had last been seen Sunday, January 19. 

They said Thompson was believed to be on her way to Charlotte, NC and was possibly driving a Burgundy Mazda Tribute.

Around midnight on Monday morning, the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office announced Thompson had been located.
