BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

LSU students will be pulling weekend duty to make up for the three recent days classes were canceled because of the weather, but other universities have different plans.

LSU leaders said they'll hold classes on three different Saturdays for students to make up the days they missed. They have not yet decided the exact dates for the make-up days. By holding Saturday classes, LSU can still take off for Mardi Gras and have a full spring break.

BRCC officials said they already have days built into their schedule in case of natural disasters, so there will be no change in classes for students.

Officials with Southern University are still meeting to decide how they will make up the days.

It is also not yet known how Southeastern Louisiana University plans to handle any possible make-up days.
