PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Local and national companies will be looking for qualified military veterans to fill thousands of positions at a veteran job fair in Glendale on Feb. 6.

More than 35 companies will be at University of Phoenix Stadium from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

More than 300 veterans are expected to network with veteran-friendly employers, including USAA Financial Services, Waste Management, Amazon, Schlumberger, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, G4S Secure Solutions, Verizon Communications, the Kroger Co., Bank of America, Home Depot and more.

USAA Financial Services also will have a seminar titled "Practical Advice for All Stages of Retirement Planning" at 10 a.m. on Feb. 6.

The job fair is sponsored by USAA and produced by RecruitMilitary in cooperation with the American Legion.
