MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Montgomery police say three men were injured after multiple shots were fired outside a nightclub early Saturday morning.

Police say officers responded to the shooting in the parking lot of the Mansion nightclub, located in the 2400 block of E. South Boulevard, at 3 a.m.

Three men suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to a Montgomery hospital.

Representatives with The Mansion say a car entered the parking lot, and individuals inside started firing their guns.  Security officers immediately returned fire injuring all three inside.

Police say the circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation and haven't released any other details.

Witnesses told WSFA 12 News Saturday that dozens of shots were fired in the incident.

A representative from the club said a car drove into the parking lot and people inside the car started shooting. The representative said multiple security officers at the Mansion exchanged gun fire and the people in the car were injured.

No arrests have been made in the case, according to police.
