MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Tarvaris Jackson, former quarterback for Alabama State University, is now a back-up quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, who are playing the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 48 Sunday night beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT.  

Jackson is in his eighth NFL season, and his second with the Seahawks.

ASU is hosting a Super Bowl party on Sunday from 3:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. for its students at the Hardy Student Center (located near the Dunn-Oliver Acadome).
