MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A mobile home was destroyed and a family was displaced early Monday morning.

Firefighters from several departments, including Big Cove, Owens Cross Roads and New Hope, responded to the Madison County home in the Byrd Drive Trailer Park sometimes after 12:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters said the mobile home was up in flames and smoke.

Four people lived in the trailer, but they all got out safely. The Red Cross is helping the family out.

Firefighters don't know what caused the fire yet, but the mobile home was destroyed.
