MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The state legislature is in full swing, and the needs of Alabama's children have a new advocate. There is now Pre-k funding for addressing childhood obesity and making children's voices a priority. The longest standing child advocacy group in Alabama, Voices for Alabama's Children is leading this cause. Today on Alabama Live Melanie Bridgeforth, the new Executive Director of Voices of Alabama is sharing what the group plans on doing this legislative session.
