Photos released of Opelika cell phone theft suspects

OPELIKA, AL (WSFA) -

Opelika police are trying to identify four suspects in the theft of several cell phones at Target.

Police say three women and one man were involved in the theft of seven pre-paid cell phones between 7:03 p.m. and 7:14 p.m. on Jan. 26. One of the women reportedly used a magnetic key to remove security devices from the packages and then all of the suspects hid the phones on their person.

Police say all four then fled the area in a four-door passenger car. Opelika police have released surveillance images of four people wanted for questioning in the case.
