OPELIKA, AL (WSFA) -

Opelika police are trying to identify four suspects in the theft of several cell phones at Target.

Police say three women and one man were involved in the theft of seven pre-paid cell phones between 7:03 p.m. and 7:14 p.m. on Jan. 26. One of the women reportedly used a magnetic key to remove security devices from the packages and then all of the suspects hid the phones on their person.

Police say all four then fled the area in a four-door passenger car. Opelika police have released surveillance images of four people wanted for questioning in the case.

Anyone with information about the identity of any of the individuals is encouraged to call the Opelika Police Department Investigative Services Division at 334-705-5220 or the Secret Witness Hotline at 334-745-8665.
