    According to WTVA, an Amber Alert has been issued for a missing Lowndes County toddler. Lowndes County Chief Deputy Marc Miley says they are searching for 2-year-old Malia Harris of Columbus. OfficialsMore >>

TROY, AL (WSFA) -

The Alabama Department of Corrections is still searching for an escaped inmate in Troy.

According to officials, Brian Steven Roberts walked off a job site Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. and has not been seen since. Roberts was a part of the Elba Work Release program, and was serving a three year term for possession of a controlled substance.

Roberts is a 41-year-old white male, and is 5'10" 180 pounds. He has short brown hair, hazel eyes and is wearing civilian clothes.
