Second suspect arrested in murders at Murfreesboro Walmart

MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

A second suspect has been taken into custody in the murders of two men found dead last month in a parking lot outside a Walmart store in Murfreesboro.

Demetrius Coleman, 21, faces charges of two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of 19-year-old Andre Chesterfield and 19-year-old Latre R. Lillard.

Coleman was arrested Thursday morning in Chicago and is jailed in Cook County, IL, awaiting extradition to Murfreesboro.

Danarius Coleman, 19, of Double Tree Lane in Nashville, was previously arrested and also charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the case.

Chesterfield and Lillard were found shot to death just before midnight Jan. 29 outside the store near Old Fort Parkway.

A motive in the shooting has not been released.
