Victim dies following Feb. 5 Montgomery crash

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery Police Department says the driver injured in a single-vehicle crash on February 5 has died.

The victim, Joseph Hinton, 62, of Montgomery, died over the weekend at a Montgomery area hospital where he was being treated for injuries he sustained in the crash.

Montgomery police officers and medical personnel responded to the crash around 8 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of Broadway Street.

A preliminary investigation shows that Hinton lost control of his 1997 Ford Explore and it overturned.

The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
