Reward offered for information on sexual assault in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Local businessman O.C. Welch is offering a $7,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect wanted in a sexual assault case in Savannah. 

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police say a man robbed and sexually assaulted a woman around 7:30 a.m. Sunday. They say she was parking her car at Candler Hospital on Reynolds Street when the man approached her, robbed her at gunpoint and then forced her to drive to an east side location.

The suspect eventually let the woman go. 

Police are looking for a black male who is in his 30s to 40s, about 5' 10" and was wearing a black jacket and black pants.
