PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

Officials with Alabama Power say as of 5 a.m. Thursday, there are about 13,000 customers without power statewide.

These outages are concentrated north around the Birmingham area and in locations such as Oneonta, Blountsville and Haleyville. There are about 70 customers in the Prattville area that are without power at this time.

Power crews are now concentrating on restoring service to those affected.
