MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

It's your last chance to buy Girl Scout Cookies to support local girls. Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama will be selling their cookies until March 2.

Now is the time to stock your freezer with Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, and all your favorite Girl Scout Cookies. The girls need to sell 12,000 more cases to achieve the goal of funding fun, character building and educational programming to girls in our community.

When you purchase Girl Scout Cookies it supports more than 12,000 girls and volunteers. Proceeds from the cookies sale help provide and deliver programs that encourage leadership and life skills to girls of all ages in the Southern Alabama region.

Girl Scouts will be at retail locations every weekend until the sale is over. To find cookies near you, a cookie locator app can be downloaded for the iPhone and Android devices, visit www.girlscoutssa.org, or call 800-239-6636 and a staff member can put you in touch with a local troop.
