Dallas sports anchor delivers perfect speech to Michael Sam's critics

Many people are applauding Dale Hansen. He called out the anonymous NFL officials in Sports Illustrated's much-criticized Michael Sam story. Sam, Missouri's All-American defensive end and SEC's defensive player of the year, came out to the world on Sunday. Several NFL officials told Sports Illustrated it will hurt him on draft day because a gay player wouldn't be welcomed in an NFL locker room.

During the newscast Hansen said in part, "Players caught in hotel rooms with illegal drugs and prostitutes? We know they're welcome. Players accused of rape and paid the woman to go away. You lie to police trying to cover up a murder. We're comfortable with that. You love another man? Well now you've gone too far."

Hansen went on to say, "I'm not always comfortable when a man tells me he's gay. I don't understand his world. But I do understand that he's part of mine."

'Tinder' hook-ups are off the hook in Olympic Village

Jamie Anderson, the American snowboarder who won gold in the slopestyle event, says the dating app 'Tinder' is amazing in Sochi. Anderson told U.S. Weekly, "Tinder in the Olympic Village is next level. It's all athletes! In the mountain village it's all athletes. It's hilarious. There are some cuties on there."

Anderson said she had to remind herself to keep the eyes on the prize. "There was a point where I had to be like OK, this is way too distracting," she said of using the app. "I deleted my account to focus on the Olympics."
