HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place after a fender-bender Sunday night.

A woman told police she was driving west on Mastin Lake Road around 6 p.m. when she was struck from behind by a dark colored vehicle. When she pulled over to check for damage, she was approached by two armed men.

She told officers the men went through her pockets and took an undetermined amount of property before fleeing south on Avondale Drive.

No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
