MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A local pastor says people are up in arms over the looming issues in our city, including murder. To combat this he's envisioned a place that belongs to the youth of Montgomery, and recently presented his plan at a city council meeting. LIVE on the show Pastor Kyle Searcy of Fresh Anointing House of Worship, the man behind this vision, we speak about his plans.

It was a competition between more than 2,000 teachers from the Montgomery Public School District. The title, 2014 MPS District Teacher of the Year. This year that honor went to Wilson Elementary teacher Denise Nelson and Booker T Washington Magnet High School teacher Rachel Dudley. Today on the show both ladies will talk about the competition and preparing to go on to represent the district in the 2014 Teacher of the Year program.
