(WMC-TV) – Memphis police arrested 26-year-old Kenosha Williams early Wednesday morning in connection with Tuesday's crash that involved at least two vehicles and threw bodies all over the front yard of a Whitehaven home on Berta Road at Shelby Drive.

With eight charges and a $75,000 bond, Williams is behind bars after telling police she took a Percocet and then side-swiped an oncoming car.

The family of Williams had nothing to say Wednesday after an unsettling scene Tuesday night; bodies were strewn all over Shelby Drive after the violent rollover crash.

Williams is charged with DUI, child endangerment, reckless driving, vehicular assault, violation of child restraint law, violation of seat belt law, driving while license suspended/revoked/canceled, and financial responsibility. Police have not released Williams' booking photo.

You can easily fit a dozen people in a Chevy Tahoe, especially if they are small children. However, Tahoes only have between five and seven seat belts.

Williams was the driver of the SUV that police say sideswiped a truck. Witnesses say a yelling match erupted after the crash.

First responders called the crash scene "chaotic." The accident sent three adults and eight kids to local hospitals. The youngest victim is 8 months old.

Police say the wreck happened when 12 people in Williams' SUV collided with the truck. It threw several kids from the vehicles.

Two of the children are in critical condition and two are in serious condition. The rest were discharged. Williams was one of the adults hospitalized at The MED.

Court records show she had a list of driving charges in the past, from driving through a red light to driving with a suspended license last year.

Police say the man driving the pickup truck was not injured.

Williams is due in court on Thursday.
