(FOX19) -

Critics are calling Liam Neeson "the new Jason Statham" in Director Jaume Collet-Serra's new film, Non-Stop.

Movie fans might remember Collet-Serra's work from his past thrillers, House of WaxOrphan and Unknown.

Non-Stop, set to hit theaters on February 28, is an action thriller about an air marshal who is put to the test after receiving a series of threatening text messages on a transatlantic flight from New York to London.

All the passengers on the flight are at risk unless the air marshal, played by Neeson, transfers $150 million into an off-shore account.

Neeson isn't the only great actor starring in the film, viewers can also enjoy seeing Julianne Moore, who plays a passenger on the flight.

According to IMDB, this new flick has already received a rating of four out of five stars.

Top IMDB reviewer MadK1987 says, "I loved it. Very clever thriller with some kind of 80s-feeling. The trailer gives away almost nothing. In this movie, nothing looks like it really is. Neeson works great in this intimate play. Don't let yourself get influenced by the comments about the trailer. This one is a really cool suspense thriller."

Moviegoers in the Tri-State can catch the film at AMC Newport on the Levee next Friday, February 28.
