NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The list of semifinalists for the James Beard Foundation Awards is out, and a Nashville favorite is up for one of the prestigious culinary honors.

Tandy Wilson, the chef at City House, is a semifinalist for Best Chef of the Southeast.

It's his sixth time as a semifinalist, and he was the only chef from Nashville in the finals last year.

A couple of new additions to Nashville's food scene also got the attention of the James Beard Foundation.

Pinewood Social and The 404 Kitchen are semifinalists in the Best New Restaurant category.

The final nominations will be announced next month, and the awards will take place in May.
