Update: 19 arrested, 25 charged in area meth bust

DEARBORN COUNTY, IN (FOX19) -

Authorities charged 25 people in a major methamphetmine bust that spanned throughout counties in Indiana and Ohio.

Detectives in Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland counties arrested 19 individuals on charges related to manufacturing meth on Monday and Tuesday. Tips to the Switzerland County Sheriff's office in January suggested there were several people allegedly involved in making meth in the area.

Authorities said a lengthy investigation revealed a large network of people working to obtain pseudoephedrine, which is the primary ingredient in the process of making meth.
