Fund set to help 6 children of woman found dead in car over weekend

Ahomicide investigation out of Fulton County is moving forward, but there arestill no answers yet as to how 28-year-old Brandi Gonyer-Boaston ended up in acar, dead.

Gonyer-Boastonwas found in her car on Saturday. The LucasCounty Coroner determined she died of asphyxiation. Those who knew her saythey're still in shock.

"Shewas a good person, so for anybody to do this – it makes no sense," said AshleyMartin, Gonyer-Boaston's best friend.

Martinsays Brandi loved her friends, family, her job as a nurse, and most of all, herkids.

"Thosekids were her life," Martin said. "She dedicated her life to raising those kidsand being the best mom that she could possibly be."

Nowsix young children are without a mom, and the family is still desperatelylooking for answers.

"Iwant whoever did this to pay," Martin said. "I want to find out, so if thereare any leads, if anybody knows anything, I need them to contact the police. Ineed to know."

Amemorial fund has been set up for Gonyer-Boaston. Donations can be made at anyHuntington bank, and will go toward funeral costs and child care.
