Severe storms possibility tonight into Friday morning

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

WSFA 12 Weather Team stresses that today there will be no severe storms during daylight hours. A line of storms is expected to form to the west this afternoon and race eastward.

The weather team believes these storms will reach Alabama and Mississippi sometime between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. They have published a video with the thoughts on timing and threats that can be paused to focus on your area/impacts.

So what exactly will the storms produce? Severe storms producing isolated Pockets of wind in excess of 55-60 miles per hour. There is a small risk of a tornado during this storm.

The WSFA 12 Storm Vision team will be in the weather center and will keep you notified of changes.
