MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Officials in Madison County announced several road closures for next week due to bridge inspections and road work.

Monday, Feb. 24, there will be three closures while bridges are inspected.

  • Old 431 Highway from Johnson Avenue in New Hope to the county line will be closed from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
  • Butler Mill Road from the county line to New Hope Cedar Point closed from 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
  • Old 431 Highway from the bypass at Hampton Cove south to Cherry Tree Road closed from noon until 1 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 25 - workers will be in the area of Winchester Road at Flint River from noon until 1 p.m. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the area.

Thursday, Feb. 27 – Landess Circle between Draper Drive and Fearn Drive will be closed from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. for pipe replacement.
