No wrongdoing found in case of bridge jumper

MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A Marshall County grand jury has found nocriminal wrongdoing after a man jumped to his death following a high-speedchase.

The results of the Deonta Griffin grand jurycase were made public Thursday. Griffin jumped into the Tennessee River Bridgein Guntersville in January 2013 after a high-speed chase. Police wereattempting to stop him on warrants out of Boaz and Marshall County.

Griffin's body was recovered nearly fourmonths later. Family members fileda civil suit, claiming police forced him off the bridge.
