DALLAS CO., AL (WSFA) -

A Selma man was killed and four others were injured in a two-vehicle crash near Selma Friday night.

According to state troopers, the crash happened at 10:45 p.m. on Highway 80 two miles east of Selma.

Authorities say Kirkpatrick Kendrick Tate, 22, was killed when the Honda Accord he was driving collided with a Ford Explorer driven by Burnette Lee, 55, of Austell, GA. Tate wasn't wearing a seat belt and was ejected, according to state troopers.

Lee and three passengers in her vehicle were transported to Vaughn Regional Medical Center in Selma for treatment.
