MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

The trial for a man accused of sex crimes against childrenin Madison County is scheduled to start Monday morning.

Ronnie Pearson of Hazel Green was charged with sexual abuseof a child younger than 12, attempted rape and sodomy.

Pearson was arrested last February after investigatorsraided his home. He was already on the run and was caught in Tennessee.
