PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) -

A 110-year-old Phenix City man was honored Monday by United States Congressman Mike Rogers.

Rogers gave a congressional record statement to James Richardson at Parkwood Health Care this afternoon.

Congress is recognizing Richardson for his 110th birthday he celebrated last month.

Richardson was born on Jan. 2, 1904 in Eufaula, Ala. He loves to watch TV and says his favorite shows are Judge Judy and Maury

He is also the oldest of 11 siblings and spent his early years plowing his father's farm.
